Ending of the Iraq occupation, are you serious?
If he wanted to end the Iraq Occupation then he should do it now while he has the power and stop funding a war that he doesnt believe in. Everyone knows the president doesnt hold the power, congress does. The president has veto power, but congress has final say in everything. If he wants to en dhte war, then stand up and say im funding a goddamn war anymore!
I had this arguement with someone else over the weekend, who also does not support this current war.occupation but somehow support this candidate that does and continues to fund it. Their response was hes not funding the war, hes funding the troops.. Ho ho ho.. funding the troops? The troops arent being funded to help people of Iraq learn how to read or write, they are being funded to kill innocent civilians and drive millions from their homes while simutaniously creating a humanitarian crisis by ways of polluted water wells, lack of food, homelessness and lack of medical care when our troops blow some poor kids face off, or having their way with the native women and children. I support our troops too, if not more by saying bring them home now! Not a year from now, not a 6 months from now from now, but right now!
Dont even get me started on healthcare, hes not changing anything.. Hes not gunna rid the US of the ever so profitable disease industry and the billion dollar pharmicutical industry, and hes not gunna rid the US of private healthcare companies who pick and choose who and who doesnt deserve coverage and proper care for their conditions on the grounds of cost effectiveness or whatever. Its the same old song and dance, healthcare should be free, plain and simple..
