QuoteReplyTopic: Searching for a daughter Posted: Jun 08 2007 at 8:51pm
I am helping my handyman search for his daughter he abandoned 30 years
ago for a couple of reasons. None of which have anything to do with his
daughter XXXX. She would be 32. Her name is XXXXX or
it was 32 years ago. Her birthday is XXXXXXXX.
Her mother graduated from XXXX High school in 1972 and her name was
XXXXX . She would be about 55 now. She has a brother named XXX and her
parents were XXXXX and XXXXXof Arlington
Heights. I am not sure she would be thrilled to talk with my handyman
but I do think father and daughter should be reunited if it is
agreeable with his daughter.
The father who is searching for his daughter is XXXXXX
and he desperately wants to reunite with his daughter who he hasn't
seen since she was two or two and a half. He has never recovered from
walking away from her and the situation and I was hoping his daughter
would want to at least talk with him again.
I live in Wisconsin and have done a lot of searching but I run into
dead ends. Yes, I can go to public records but I don't know what birth,
death, and marriage certificates will do for me. I need her to know her
father is searching for her.
He has no computer.
I have removed all the personal information about this because I have found her and I need to respect her privacy.
For some reason I cannot access the four or five responses I got. I
don't know if it is because I am not doing something right or it is
because I have an old Apple computer? Please help. I guess if
people could email me directly at cclendrum@yahoo.com, it might help????
Hi Kiki, yes I sent a private message response to you. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work on your MAC, perhaps if you upgraded your web browser it would work. I'll drop you an email as well.
Given the information you provided the Arlington Heights Memorial Library staff may be able to suggest some ways for you to find the people you are looking for.
Keep checking back for their response.

I used my Safari browser instead of Netscape but I still can't see my responses from anyone other than you. Are you able to send me my responses through an email or attachment or something? Are they just supportive or do any of them know either person I am searching for?
Well, it's possible you only received a private message response from me. This is a public discussion forum so any responses that people might have would probably be posted here. Keep checking back, I'm sure someone will have some words of advice or know someone who knows someone who might know who you are looking for.
We had a short but interesting discussion on this forum not too long ago about the six degrees of separation. Here is a link to that discussion.
Best of luck,

Here's some quick information I was able to gather using Google and Intellius. Intellius charges you money if you want more specific details on a particular person but in this case it may help you locate who you are looking for.
