A Doctor Who-Centric Discussion


Lynne Thomas, author of Chicks Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the Women Who Love It, joins Gordon Dymowski, comics/pop culture blogger and co-host of the Dr. Who online show, for an evening discussion for Dr. Who fans. Come join the conversation. This program is for both new and beloved followers of the British TV series, which began in 1963, and claims the record as the longest longest-running science fiction television show in the world. Book sale and signing at the end of the program.
 
Date and time: Tuesday, February 28, 7 p.m.

About the presenters
Lynne M. Thomas is the current editor of Apex Magazine. She co-edited the Hugo Award Winning Chicks Dig Time Lords, as well as Whedonistas and Chicks Dig Comics. She is also the moderator for the SF Squeecast, a monthly SF/F podcast. In her day job, she is the Curator of Rare Books and Special Collections at Northern Illinois University, where she is responsible for the papers of over 50 SF/F authors.
 
Gordon Dymowski is a writer and blogger (Blog THIS, Pal!, Comic Related's TV Party column), podcaster (Comic Related's Zone4; WGTR's DrWhoverse) and Doctor Who fan. He organizes the Doctor Who 101 events for Chicago Nerd Social Club, volunteers for Chicago Net Tuesday, and works as a freelance communications consultant for small businesses and non-profits.
